Daddy bang bang car!

Julian is a nag when travelling in the car. He will always say be careful, dun bang bang car, drive slowly, if not ambulance will come...etc. So this time, for real, Daddy bang bang car! He kissed someone's butt! There goes Daddy's favorite BMW! Only 5 months old!

That's not the main issue why i blog about it. The main thing is that i want everyone to know about my son's promise to me! This morning I had no choice but to drive it to pick up Nicole's new collar and my lovely Julian sitting beside me and said this, "Mommy, Daddy's car is BROKEN! Dun wan Daddy's car anymore! I buy u a new car." I asked him if he was going to buy me a Mr Bean's car (cos tat's his favorite car). To my surprise, he said he is going to buy me a BIG BIG car!

Wow! My heart feel so great that my son is going to "BUY" me a car eventhough I know this is not gonna happen. Woman juz love empty promises! Ha ha.. So now i'm gonna put it down in the blog. "JULIAN! U OWE MOMMY A BIG BIG CAR!"

Gar Gar is 9m old!

Today my darling Gar Gar turns 9m! Suddenly I find him grow up so much! BUT the only thing that does not grow is - if he starts laughing, I can't see his eyes anymore!

My Gar Gar is able to "ga ga" some baby language like "ba ba" and he has started crawling around! The moment I see him crawling out of the room and out of his comfort zone - the mattresses, I was so overwhelmed by joy! After so much endurance, my lack of sleep, my constant worries over this sickly baby... I finally see him crawling around! I can't describe my emotion!

Also, to date he already has 4 front teeth and the 5th one is popping out too! He has began to develop "stranger anxiety". He is worst than gor gor as he will cry non-stop until he sees me! Now he will know how to throw tantrum if I dun carry him or play with him.

Cheeky Julian

As usual, we walked Nicole in the garden daily... The reason that Mommy only bring Julian out is - So the maid can do her housework in peace and Gar Gar can sleep in peace too! He is really a monster terrorising everybody but mommy is a counter-terrorism specialist!

Yesterday, after we have walked Nicole and on our way back, Julian saw a lady standing under the void deck waiting, he waved at the lady and said, "hi, pretty gal!". Suddenly, I felt like I was walking the famous japanese cartoon character - xiao xin! My son is so cheeky and I felt like digging a hole and bury my head in it. Moreover, the "pretty" gal is not really pretty! I think something is wrong with his eyesight!

Imagine if he grows older and by 5 years old, he may starts to whistle at gals when I bring him out. Yeeeee, I better starts collecting paper bags from Burger King to hide my face!

Cartoonist Julian And Garwyn

Did some edit on Garwyn and Julian photo then turn them into cartoonist adult. I think this is how they look like when they grow up. hehehe.. The one ontop is Garwyn and the one below is Julian.

Juliana is 27m old!

My darling Juliana is 27 months old today. Yes, it's Juliana, not a typo error. My Julian has turned into a Juliana. He always cry even over e slightest thing. I told him that the more he crys the shorter his "bird bird" will become until his "bird bird" fly away and he'll become Juliana.

He is now a very talkative boy n he really know how to manipulate the people around him but i'll not be taken in by him cos whatever tricks he uses, i'd used it in my childhood too!

He learns thing fast. He could sing a few nursery songs now. So I'm beginning to teach this "banana" to sing some mandarin songs. He now can sing some chinese nursery like "客人来" n "两只老虎" but u'll think it's an "ang moh" singing..

Despite him having started walking at 11 month old, he still walk like a drunkard, it's always right leg stepping on left leg and humpty dumpty again! Otherwise will be his "big head" losing balance when trying to pick up things on the floor! Teacher Lydia always say "another boo boo?!", "how many boo boo do u want?"... And he will start counting, "1,2,3". So I call it boo boo of the month! Last month he has 2 and this month another 2. Dr Watt said he can endorse "ZAM BUK" liao! Being his mommy is really embarassing sometime!

Oh Yes! Juliana is also look conscious. Whenever he sees me dress up, he will say "Pretty mommy". If he sees me in bra and panty with a tummy, he will say "FAT FAT mommy" but still it is better that what he commented about his daddy, "FAT FAT ULTIMATE DADDY". I really have no idea when and where did he learn this word from. But Daddy and Gar Gar to him is "FAT FAT ULTIMATE" and luckily I am only graded "FAT FAT". He he....: )

Gar Gar going 9m old

My precious Gar Gar has finally got 4 front teeth so Mommy prepared his 1st porridge on 6th October 2008. The ingredients are scallops, fish, broccoli and lots of Mommy's love. Gar Gar loves the porridge very much. He is now a very glutton boy. Whenever he sees us eating, he will start making a lot of noises and wants a share of our food. Soon he will outgrow gor gor and bully gor gor.

Gar Gar's seal （聚财章）

This is Gar Gar's seal and it cost S$168.00. It contains his baby hair, 1 day old picture and embilical cord. Gor Gor has 1 too! Mommy hopes that 1 day this seal will appear on all Singapore Dollars Notes. Ha ha... Dun laugh! It's not a dream, Ok? If Gar Gar work hard!

Mommy the BIG BULLY!

We went to the TOYS R US Warehouse sales on the 11th October 2008. See! In the past, he refused to sit in the stroller and now he "die die" also dun wanna get up for fear that Gar Gar will sit on it!

I bought a drum intended for Gar Gar but as usual Julian snatched everything and it becomes HIS! I tried to reason out with him by telling him that he is a gor gor and should learn to SHARE! He refused to listen and just hug his drum tightly and wanting to crawl away. So I held on to his leg and pulled him back, trying to talk him into sharing. I started pulling the drum and tell him there are 2 sides so he and di di can sit side by side and play the drum. He refused to listen, juz hold on tight to his drum. Unknowingly, we started the tug of war. Of cos, I won the war and gave Gar Gar the drum but gor gor was crying. Then I realised I was snatching his toy for Gar Gar. Mommy's such a BULLY!

Gar Gar had a CROUP!

Gar Gar had a croup on 4th October 2008. It was a viral infection as according to doctor. It developed suddenly n his voice turned coarse. He was almost like gasping for breath. I did not know what to do cos it was something i'd never encountered. It was saturday so I called Dr Watt and check if I could bring Gar Gar to her. She was having a conference but she is a dutiful doctor and she offered to see Gar Gar during her lunch break.

Thanks to the Pretty Dr Watt that Gar Gar has since recovered from his "toad" voice.

Julian - the green eye Dino

Even since he was back from the Science Centre, he has proclaimed himself as the Dinosaur with a big mouth.

This little dino has been terrorising everybody in the house. He kicks his jie jie (Nicole) and bite didi Gar Gar so I have to protect them by transforming myself into MOMMY DINO and bite this little rascal back!

He is a very jealous boy now. He would order anyone who carry Gar Gar to "PUT GAR GAR DOWN. CARRY BB JULIAN." Otherwise he would start pulling gar gar's leg or bite his little toe without us noticing. Whenever, we give Gar Gar a toy to play, he would snatch it back.

Once, I was playing a toy with Gar Gar and he came to snatch all the toys back. I was really pissed off and asked him what he could give Gar Gar. He asked me to wait and searched his toy box for a while before giving me a small set of percussion. He passed one to Gar Gar and hold on to the other one. So I started playing with Gar Gar and he noticed the sound of his and Gar Gar one is different so he snatched it back and pass over the other one to his brother. Haii....

Then there was a time when he passed me a story and told me to read to Gar Gar. So I read it to Gar Gar. When he realised Gar Gar was listening to Mommy interestingly, he snatched the book back and said "FINISHED"!

P.S.: Gar Gar, u must grow faster so u can oso become a DINO and eat Gor Gor up!

Gar Gar is 8m old!

Our precious baby Gar Gar is 8m old now. He has grown into a 高大威猛baby but with a weak body. He is sick again. He had a fever last night so mommy couldn't sleep but to sponge him and watch over him.

Little Gar Gar is now beginning to be attached to me. Sometimes I reach home with gor gor after school and hurrying to wash gor gor up and prepare him for lunch, Gar Gar would ask me to carry him. If I didn't, he would start crying. Altho' it's tiring for me that all my kids are so attached to me but I really feel wonderful being a mother!

Gar Gar sure know what's his right now! When gor gor snatched away his toys, he would crawl to gor gor and try to snatch it back. Of cos, gor gor win but we believe in times to come, he would be the one bullying gor gor! Gar Gar, backup!

My Clever Julian

Gar Gar is sick

Gar Gar is having a viral fever since yesterday. Mommy has been giving him paracetomol but it comes back after 6 hours when medicine wears off. Aunty Lorna said his gum is swollen n teething. Today mommy brought him to consult the pretty Dr Watt just to be safe. She confirmed it's a viral fever.

Singapore Science Center

It's Family Day again. This time - Singapore Science Center n include Daddy as well. Altho Daddy was still busy with mobile phone n business throughout but we were still glad that he came along.

Science Center has changed so much as compared to the one that I've visited decades ago. Julian sure had his hates n loves there and Gar Gar was very curious about it that he has forgotten his milk milk n sleep. He kept looking around curiously. As for Julian, i thought he would love the Dinosaur exhibition but when he saw one at the entrance, he started crying. I could feel his heart pounding real fast. He was really scared by it. He was hanging on to Daddy n Auntie Lorna real tight! Clinging on like a koala bear! (Look at the photo that he has taken with Daddy, He was pointing cos he was telling Daddy, "go outside, dun wan dinosaur anymore!") However he enjoyed the water works very much. We were there till about 4.30pm, passed their nap time. Julian slept in the car on our way home n Gar Gar made lot of noise in the car.

So this evening, they were so tired that they slept very early today.

My GYM excursion - Underwater World

Today our Julian dun dun cry (his mispronounced chinese name) has gone to UNDERWATER WORLD in Sentosa organised by his school - MY GYM. As like his name, he cried and cried in the journey.

I really do not know what he has learnt in this trip. From the photos taken by Aunty Lorna, I only knows he enjoys his tidbits...

Gar Gar is 7m old!

My precious Gar Gar is 7 month old now. He is getting more and more handsome each day... hehe.. n more and more mischievous too! As like gor gor, he will make a lot of noises and put up a huge struggles whenever we take him out for a drive. He wanna stand in the car and look at the scenery. Of course I'm now smart enough not to let history repeat. I will be fixing the car seat back into the car soon so that he would learn to sit still in the car.

As for food, I still insist that he eats cereal mixed with pumpkin or papaya puree. I'm introducing new food to him every week like japanese sweet potato but cereal will be his main stable for the time being. Everybody is telling me to let him eat porridge but he only has 2 front teeth and can't even sit still so I'm not in a hurry to do that. Anyway, I believe that the cereal has all the nutrients for him now.

Now that Gar is 7m old, it is time to discipline him. I mean his sleeping, eating habit and etc.

Bottle Tree Village

Today is our Family Day - so we made a trip to this Bottle Tree Village on Sunday, 17th August 2008.

The name Bottle Tree Village is of course derived from this TREE! It is sort of a Natural Park located in Yishun. It has a nursery that grows vegetables and ponds for fishing. There is also a restuarant that welcomes DOGS! You can also buy fresh "organic" vegetables at S$2.00 per pack, but the variety will depends on their harvest on that day. There are nice BIG fishballs on sale at S$2.00 per bag too! And fresh seafoods! WELCOME TO THE BOTTLE TREE VILLAGE!

I loves this swing very much cos it can accomodate the whole family and swing swing swing.. so intend to bring it home. (this is my long awaited picture... taken with all the darlings of my life)

Gar Gar swimming experience

It was the last day of Lunar Sixth month (30/7/2008) so mommy decided to bring the kids down for a swim before the start of the Hungry Ghost month when children are not supposed to swim or go out at night. They seem to enjoy it. After the end of the Lunar Seventh month, mommy will bring them for a swim again.

Gar Gar is 6m old!

BB Gar Gar is 6m old today. The whole family has taken a potrait together. Gar Gar also has his passport done. Can u tell which is Gar Gar's passport photo and which is bb Julian?

The cameraman said dog is not welcome and mommy argued with him and insisted Nicole is well-mannered and wanted her to take the photo together. So after so much persistency, wish granted!

Unlike gor gor, Gar Gar is still very "babylicious" and can't really sit well. But two little teeth teeth have pop up. I'm so worry that he will soon bite my nipples during breastfeeding. He seem to be able to recognise people and very selective on who can carry him. He will cry whenever daddy carries him.

As for weaning, mommy has started him off with mashed pumpkin mixed with rice cereal for dinner and 泡参四神糙米cereal for lunch. This time I'll make sure he wouldn't end up like gor gor - become a fussy eater.

Julian turns "Terrible Two"! - Part II

Prince Julian's continued his birthday celebration on 20.07.2008, Sun. Mommy organised a DUCKTOUR for him followed by a Swenson's treat. Now he finally knows how a Merlion looks like. And whenever he takes his shower, he will do the "MERLION" spitting out water from his mouth.

P.S: Notice Daddy was very pissed off after he blew the candles off for bb Julian? He was angry that bb Julian couldn't blow off the flame after several attempts. But silly daddy never put the candle to his mouth level therefore Julian couldn't blow it off. I tried to help Julian but I was carrying Gar Gar and Julian was strapped in the chair. Poor Julian!

Julian turns "Terrible Two"! - Part I

How time flies, it has been 2 years that this BIG HEAD Monster cum GREEN EYES Monster has invaded my life, my home.. .. 2 years and he has so many things accumulated at home. If I am to put a tag on things that belongs to him, it's gonna be... Wow! Everywhere is gonna be Julian, Julian, Julian.. Kitchen, Living room, bedrooms even toilet.. His toys, clothes, food....most importantly, he has occupied my heart and soul, leaving no rooms for myself anymore, my little rascal.

Prince Julian's birthday is celebrated over 2 days. First, Mommy held a party for him in MY GYM with his classmates on the 18th July 2008. The above was the invitation card that Mommy took pain to design (Mommy is an IT idiot). Then Prince Julian wanted a "car car" ice cream cake from Swenson that cost me S$48.15. For the next few days, Mommy was running here and there to get nice paper plates, colourful servette, spoons and forks, party packs. Many thanks to Aunty Jenny who helped me buy all the nice tidbits from Japan to be given away as party souvenir. Then it was to plan for the food for the parents, students and teachers. We had Pizza, hotdogs, marshmellows, chicken nuggets and milo drinks. Julian co-celebrated his birthday with another classmate whom he always call him as "SHAWN HAN GOH".

The petite and pretty girl in blue is Julian's fav Teacher Linda. Poor teacher Linda, she is so small size but my 14kg monster is so attached to her that she always have to carry him around.

Julian's miliestone (coming 2...)

Recently Huggies Ultra comes wif free story books. So mommy got all 4 copies of e fairytales. Mommy started reading 2 to Julian, Aladdin n Beauty n the Beast. It is definitely a fairytales but with parental guidance, it turns into horror for Julian. I think I really need to attend some parenting course to brush up my story telling skill.

Our little green eyes monster can't differentiate the "I" n "U"! Whenever he wants mommy to carry, he would say "CARRY U" and ends up with a big elephant hugging him asking him to carry.

He always mispronounce 2 words - MILK and HELP. Whenever he wants his Chocolate milk, he would ask for "Chocolate nat nat" and when he needs Help, he would say "siak siak u".

Altho he is turning 2 soon but he is already very "plastic"! When he needs a favor or want a praise, he would say "Pretty Mommy" to me. If he wanna tease mommy, he would say "Fat Fat mommy". When I heard that, I would ask him to say that again and he would change his word to "Pretty Mommy" and laugh. I guess it must be the gene from his Daddy but at least he is honest. Mommy is fat but pretty! Ke Ke.....

He doesn't need "pat pat" to sleep now and goes to bed past 9. Doesn't sound terrible rite? Cos it's yet to come.. for the maid. He wakes up either before 6 or slightly past 6 then starts crying and screaming for his chocolate nat nat (mispronunced milk milk). He is now a walking alarm clock for the maid.

Gar Gar's milestone (part I)

Gar Gar is coming 6m old and he has fully mastered the skill of flipping over n back recently. Now he is very good at it. He could now do the "zhenzi" style crawling like what his gor gor used to do. Altho he is a little hmmm.. Overweight, his crawling speed does not lose out to gor gor! So mummy n aunty is keeping an eye over him in case he overdo it n knock his head like the big head monster! Gar gar, u r still a little behind time, u should b sitting by now, ok?!
