Julian's Fever Update

| |

Finally Julian's fever has subsided but rashes have developed over his handsome face. No worry, according to the Paediatrician, it is normal.

Daddy has realised the differences of seeing a PD and GP. A GP charges S$15.00 for consultation whereas PD charges S$45.00. A GP will prescribed paracetamol and just that but a PD gave Daddy and Mummy a precious lesson on FEVER MANAGEMENT.

Attention all Mummies, this is the excerpts of FEVER MANAGEMENT:-
  • The fever will normally last for 3 days.
  • No worries even if temperature hit 40 degree Celsius if baby is still active. However, if baby is lethargic even at 38 degree Celsius, parents to be alerted.
  • Rashes will develop after fever subsides.

My PD gave instruction to feed Julian CALPOL SUSPENSION every 6 hourly if fever is above 38 degree Celsius and 4 hourly if it is above 39 degree Celsius.

GP has never mentioned all these so if Mummy sees all the rashes on Julian's face today, Mummy would have rash my handsome son back to the GP again. So the cost of consulting the GP and PD will come to the same or even more ex! (Conclusion: See a PD if you are unsure! Money well spend!)

Baby Julian has now become Baby Juliana! He is so "teh" now. Like a cry baby. So sticky like a plaster to Mummy and Daddy. He refuses to sleep on his own and insists that he must be cuddled to sleep. Once he has fallen asleep and u put him back on the bed, he'll cry like Daddy and Mummy has abused him! Naughty Juliana!
