Nicole has a lump
Scribbled by Jolene | 6:12 PM | 0 You Bark hereMy darling Nicole has a growth on her neck. It has been over a year but the vet said it was a dead tissue and as long as it's not growing it's ok. Daddy and Mummy have been monitoring it now and then. Mummy is constantly worrying over this growth so it's like a time bomb.
Today we decided to seek a second opinion. The vet from Mt Pleasant said he can put Nicole on a GA and perform a 1 hour op to remove the lump. Mummy is worried that Nicole couldn't take the anesthesia and that's why the op isn't carried out 1 year ago. However, the vet said it's better to do it now that she is young and there could be chances to turn malignant later. The vet has ressured Mummy that he will do a blood test to ensure that her organs are strong and healthy enough to take the anesthesia.
We have to decide now whether to do it or not....
Julian's first Potty
Scribbled by Jolene | 5:54 PM | 0 You Bark herePo po said it's time to "toilet train" this little pup. So Mummy bought the potty this morning. It cost S$6.90. Julian, enjoy your business.
The Affectionate Nicole
Scribbled by Jolene | 11:38 AM | 0 You Bark hereNaughty Julian had a fall few days ago. He had stubbornly ignored Mummy's warning not to push the chair and walk with it. So he had a "free fall" n the chair toppled on him. He cried hysterically. The affectionate Nicole went over to him, smelt and licked his head. Then she managed to drag a small cushion to her didi. Mummy was so touched after seeing it. Instead of pacifying the cry-baby, Mummy gave Nicole a "wang wang" & praised her...
Julian & God-mommy
Scribbled by Jolene | 6:05 PM | 0 You Bark hereGrannies said if a child is naughty then find him a god parents. So Auntie See See decided to undertake this task. Julian has a god mommy effectively on 25.03.2007. "Julian, you should behave yourself now since you have 2 mommies to look after you. If you continue to misbehave, then Mummy will have to get you a god daddy, god grandpa, god grandma....."
Baby Contest 2007
Scribbled by Jolene | 5:57 PM | 0 You Bark hereBaby Julian has participated in a Baby Contest 2007 on 25.03.2007. The very proud Mummy believed that her little prince is handsome, macho, cute..... and sure can impress the judge. He had many supporters there to support him. However, baby Julian came home empty-handed.
Never mind, we will try again the next time. The judges are blind!
Julian's milestone at 8m
Scribbled by Jolene | 11:24 AM | 0 You Bark hereJulian is 8m old as at 20.03.2007. He has developed into a Hmmmm...... A Super Naughty and Hyperactive Boy with Serious Stranger Anxiety! How serious? When grandpa calls out his name and he starts to frown : (
He is now trying to grab everything that is within his reach to stand up and walking. So he makes Mummy's world goes upside down. He can now crawl very fast. Rushing to grab his jie jie's drinking bowl, sockets, live wires n etc... Now Mummy is aching all over the place, always trying to pull him back.
Julian at My Gym
Scribbled by Jolene | 5:14 PM | 0 You Bark hereJulian attended the My Gym - waddler class on Sunday, 18.03.2007. The class cost S$30.00 for 50 minutes. It consists of exercising, tumbling, bouncing, singing, puppet show... He was the youngest baby in the class. Cos the "kiasu" mummy sent him there despite the minimum age is 10 months and above. Hee hee....
How did he behave in the class? Hmmm.... Very Stun Lor. He kept observing the place n only played on his own. As for the exercising, actually the whole thing is more of "takan" Mummy cos mummy had to hold him to do it. So at the end of the class, Mummy was more shack than him. He only warmed up himself towards the end of the class. Nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable as he can crawl anywhere he wants without constrained to all the furnitures and wires at home.
Mummy will bring him back when he is 10 months old...
Julian's first official crawl
Scribbled by Jolene | 5:07 PM | 0 You Bark hereJulian's no more "zhen zi". This is his first official crawl at 7 month. Look! He was crawling from 1 room to the other. He was crawling to the study room to look for Daddy.

Nicole looking on and waiting for her chance to get it back.
Nicole on the go!
Scribbled by Jolene | 4:47 PM | 0 You Bark hereMummy has bought Nicole a new bag! It cost S$19.90 from Auntie Susan of Dognamite. She looks so pretty with the bag. So what does it have in the bag? Two plastic bags, tissue paper and her fav "wang wang".
Now she is ready to go kgai kgai... So the next time if someone invites her for a curry potato meal again, she can bring along her bag to pack some home for Mummy as well. If she is unwell the next time after makan, she can take out her tissue paper and plastic bag to do her puking and poo poo...
Nicole is starring at her bag cos she is figuring out how to take out her "wang wang" Hee hee.....
Siblings Rivalry
Scribbled by Jolene | 10:48 PM | 0 You Bark hereNicole is feeling better today after 2 days of diarrhea and constant nagging from Mummy. She had started asking for food this afternoon. She kept leading me to the kitchen so I gave her her favourite carrot and apple.
As for dinner, Mummy prepared her usual Natural Balance mixed with cooked Salmon but she wouldn't come over to eat her dinner. So I started nagging her again.
Mum: "Nicole, look! It's fish fish in the bowl! Come and eat your dinner."
Nicole: She walked around her bowl and walked away.
Mum: "Ok! U dun wanna eat dinner again! So u wanna go 2nd floor to eat curry and potato again hah!"
Nicole: Starring at Mummy .. : - <<
Mum: "Ok, fine! I'll let didi finish your dinner..." (Mummy pretended to feed the curious didi... Little glutton Julian opened his mouth and really waiting for the food.)
Nicole finally decided she MUST finish her food before Little Julian finish it for her. So she finished her dinner and got her APPLE.
Now Daddy has brought her down for a walk and they ended up in a coffeeshop having a drinking session with Daddy's friends. I think Nicole must be drinking "GUINNESS STOUT" NOW!
`````````````````
Naughty Julian has a "fine" taste for food. He is beginning to refuse porridge but will eat other food like noodle. So this afternoon lazy Mummy ordered a bowl of fishball "lao zu fen" for him. He finished half a bowl.
For Dinner, Mummy cooked Macroni with Threadfin and Spinach for him. He finished that too and 1 quarter piece of apple.
I really dun understand how MY CHILDREN can develop this kind of "FINE TASTE"! Nicole won't eat DOG food and Julian won't eat BABY food!
SHIT!
Scribbled by Jolene | 10:37 PM | 1 You Bark hereToday is Mama's SHIT DAY! I have to pick up all the shit after the 2 of them or do stool analysis for Nicole.
It started in the morning with a pool of shit in the toilet. It belongs to Nicole. She has an upset stomach since yesterday. Then it was Julian's one.... Nicole's one... Julian's one.......
There is traces of blood in Nicole's stool. Her stool is still a bit watery. I'm worry so I monitored her stool for the whole day. If this persist tomorrow, then Mummy will have to bring her to the vet.
While Mummy is heartache and worry over Nicole's upset tummy but still nagging her the whole day for accepting stranger's food!
Nicole in Suspense
Scribbled by Jolene | 5:50 PM | 1 You Bark hereNicole left home mysteriously this morning. Daddy has to look for her floor by floor. Someone said she saw her on the 2nd flr but Daddy couldn't find her there. Daddy found her on the way home on the 9th flr instead.
Shortly after she returned home, we saw her doing circles on the rug so we thought she needed to poo so Mummy hurried her to the garden. But I saw a pool of vomit at the gate on our way out. There was traces of potatoes... Oh no! Someone must have feed her! I asked Daddy to clear the vomit. Later Daddy called n said there was a pool of shit in the kitchen. Nicole had a diarrhoea!
Later Nicole had another bout of diarrhoea in the garden. I called the vet for symptoms of food poisoning. I was told to monitor her for a while more and if symptoms persisted, send her down to the clinic.
I then walked her every floor to find out what happened during her disappearance. Some kids told me, there saw a indian man feeding her on the 2nd floor.
Later Daddy went down to 2nd floor to find the indian man but couldn't find him. Luckily, Nicole is fine now.
Julian's Fever Update
Scribbled by Jolene | 2:46 PM | 0 You Bark hereFinally Julian's fever has subsided but rashes have developed over his handsome face. No worry, according to the Paediatrician, it is normal.
Daddy has realised the differences of seeing a PD and GP. A GP charges S$15.00 for consultation whereas PD charges S$45.00. A GP will prescribed paracetamol and just that but a PD gave Daddy and Mummy a precious lesson on FEVER MANAGEMENT.
Attention all Mummies, this is the excerpts of FEVER MANAGEMENT:-
- The fever will normally last for 3 days.
- No worries even if temperature hit 40 degree Celsius if baby is still active. However, if baby is lethargic even at 38 degree Celsius, parents to be alerted.
- Rashes will develop after fever subsides.
My PD gave instruction to feed Julian CALPOL SUSPENSION every 6 hourly if fever is above 38 degree Celsius and 4 hourly if it is above 39 degree Celsius.
GP has never mentioned all these so if Mummy sees all the rashes on Julian's face today, Mummy would have rash my handsome son back to the GP again. So the cost of consulting the GP and PD will come to the same or even more ex! (Conclusion: See a PD if you are unsure! Money well spend!)~~~~~~~~~~
Baby Julian has now become Baby Juliana! He is so "teh" now. Like a cry baby. So sticky like a plaster to Mummy and Daddy. He refuses to sleep on his own and insists that he must be cuddled to sleep. Once he has fallen asleep and u put him back on the bed, he'll cry like Daddy and Mummy has abused him! Naughty Juliana!
My Lovely Children
Peek A Boo
Scribbled by Jolene | 10:51 PM | 2 You Bark hereA for APPLE
Scribbled by Jolene | 10:41 PM | 1 You Bark hereBaby Julian has been uttering "Aaaaaaa" some time ago and he wouldn't compromise for a Bbbbbb.... That goes the same for Apple not Banana.
The fruitseller said banana is good for baby cos it is full of potassium so Mummy bought a bunch of it for him. The first day after dinner, Mummy mashed 1 banana for him. After this, that's it! He refused to eat a banana anymore! He will spit it out no matter how hard I tried. However, it's a different story for an APPLE! He will skretch his body with his mouth open whenever he see an APPLE! So as his jie jie - Nicole. Both children will gather around the apple. So Mummy is stocking up APPLES for the 2 precious one.
