The Incredible Farter

This mighty dynamite has a small little butt - but dun ever under estimate his mini missile launcher. He is capable of letting go looooooooooong, loooooooooooud and smellllllllllly farts!

So next time if you sit next to him during meals and he farts, most likely all diners will look at you instead of him!

Garwyn in Tumble Tot

6th Jul 2010 (Tue) - Garwyn has started his new school term 28th June 2010 (Mon) with Tumble Tots.

His transport arrangement is - Mommy will send him to school and Auntie will fetch him home cos I have to send Julian to school. Today before he set off to school, Auntie Selina told him not to bully classmates and to behave himself. You will never expect his reply! He replied coolly, "OK! If he beat me then I beat him, if he kill me then I kill him."

The Chinese saying goes "人不犯我，我不犯人" Cool!

Garwyn has never cried once even on the first day of school. He is really different from his cry baby gor gor Julian who is still crying...

As usual, I sent him to school. Before he reached his school which is on the 2nd floor, he could hear his classmate crying and screaming. He coolly commented, "Still Baby?!"

Wow! Gar Gar, aint you a baby too!? Come on, You are still wearing diaper! and can't pronounce your words properly. Teacher said he look like he is senior here.

2nd Jul 2010 (Fri) - I am so proud of my son! He could differentiate the left and right side of the shoes! I saw him putting the shoes together for Gar Gar and thought Garwyn how to put them together!

You won't understand why I am so proud of him cos the stupid mommy could not tell right and left till 7 - 8 years old! And it was always my younger sister - Winnie, who would prepare my school shoes for me! If not I'll take a piece of chalk to write R & L on the shoes! He He....

Birds and the Caterpillars

30th June 2010 (Wed) - I told Garwyn, "Garwyn, can you get your bird bird to sh sh... (pee)?" He said not bird bird but caterpillar. I was surprised at his description! Ok, then it's caterpillar. Julian heard our conversation and proudly asked me if I saw his big and long birdy. I told him that's not a bird, still a caterpillar. He argued that it is a butterfly so we spent the whole night discussing, analysing and categorising the birds, caterpillars and the butterflies.

It is finally cleared that who owns a butterfly, who has a caterpillar and bird!

Garwyn's Honor

14th June 2010 (Mon) - Daddy brought Garwyn to toilet and sat him on the toilet bowl to poo. Then washed his butt and put on undrewear for him - All for the 1st time. Hip Hip Hooray! Garwyn!

Witty Garwyn

So smart is this boy, he bowed his legs and said to me, "mommy, diamond." Then bent his knee and said TRIANGLE. Pointed to his head and said CIRCLE.

I put my 2 hands on my head and asked him what shape is that. He stared for very long and said HEART. It was intended to be a TRIANGLE but yes it looked like a HEART too.

See Shichida and those DHA fish oil does work on his brain! Ha Ha... ...

Nicole's follow up on 22/05/2010 (Sat), result from blood test as follows:

• HCT 23.4% Low
• HGB 7.4% g/dL Low
• WBC 28.7 k/mL High
• GRANS 24.00 k/mL High
• PLT 241k/mL (back to normal)

Dr K Tan has changed her medication to :

• Clindamycin 150mg
• Azithromycin 250mg
• Atovaquone 750mg/5ml

She is due to go back for follow up on 26/05/2010 (Wed).

Today she could finish her lunch of beef and dinner of salmon and grains and still waiting for more. Her tongue is a little pinkish now. We went out for dinner. When we came back, she was biting a ball and wanna play fetch. She is more lively and back to her old shelf again. But she pent a little so we only played with her for a while only.

I crossed my fingers for her blood test after she has changed to her new medication. Her blood test result was :

• HCT 38.3% (back to Normal)
• HGB 11.8 g/dl (still low)
• WRC 20.8k/ul (High)
• GRANS 19.2k/ul (High)
• PLT 307 k/ul ( back to Normal)

Her next medical follow up was 02.06.2010 (Wed).

• HGB 14.9g/dl (Normal)
• WBC 12k/ul (Normal)

Hip Hip Hooray! Many thanks to my super hero - Dr Kasey Tan! My Nicole is on the road to recovery! She is due for the next follow up end July 2010 meanwhile I will be more careful with her flea and tick management.

Many thanks to those who gave me the advises and supports and even standby their precious furkids for blood transfusion. Also the staffs of Mt. Pleasant (Sembawang), especially Sujena, for all the supports and care to Nicole during this difficult period.
