Garwyn's punishment

Like Mommy like son - Garwyn is also a vampire at 2! The victim is some how only gor gor. Whenever he is very angry, he will just transform into a vampire and start biting the one that provoke him.

However this time he was not so lucky as Daddy and Mommy caught him in action and decided to punish him. Mommy put a cone around his neck to deter him from biting. This cone was supposed to be for Nicole as she just had her operation.

Aunty Unique MMS this photo to me and asked me to show it to Julian & Garwyn and ask them to guess who is in the picture.

Julian looked at the picture and commented the princess is very ugly, must be a witch in disguise. As for Garwyn, he just said "Dunno!" and walked away.

I reckoned that Mommy Winnie is right - Mia is handsome! Dun even use the word "pretty" on her!

"Plastic" Gar Gar

18th Mar 2010- The 3 kids were playing in a nearby playground when a little girl came and stroke Nicole. Gar Gar immediately stopped playing and came over. He squatted next to her and started stroking Nicole too but his eyes were ogling at the girl. After the girl left, he ran away to continue his play.

Use sister Nicole to "sian cha bo". As cheeky as Daddy.

Lesson learnt?

Julian used a pencil and wrote on a chair. I spank him with a ruler. Dad commented I was too harsh and his hands were swollen.

Later Julian told me, "See! You hit my hanbs so hard, Now red red." I asked him if he had learnt his lesson. He said "NO!"

I told him next time I will chop off his hand. Grrr....

Butt Breakdown

Julian has been using suppository for his recent viral fever so he couldn't poo for a few days. Finally when he poo, he was hilarious and shouted from the bathroom - "My backside not spoil anymore. It's working again. My 大便coming out!"

Finally I have spayed Nicole - 8th April 2010

8th April 2010 - Finally I had summoned enough courage to spay Nicole.

I'd wanted to spay her since I'd adopted her in 2004 but Aunty Unique (who is a witch) had casted a curse on Mommy. And whenever, I have made appointments to sterilise Nicole, misfortunes would always befall, thus make it impossible to carry out the mission.

In 2004 - when I booked an appointment to spay her, she had her 1st heat on that day itself. Subsequent years, change of maid, move house, kids falling seriously sick....

As now she is already 6. Her heat was irregular and not much. She often has skin problems due to her hormonal changes.. Dr Kasey Tan again hi-light to me the risk of not getting her spay early. The risk of woman cancers, the pain that she has to go through if she needs chemotherapy in her senior years... really freak me out. My tears almost rolling down and I'd to stop him from blaring some more.

Finally I've decided the date 8th April (Thu) 2010. Same thing happened - the curse! Julian and Garwyn were seriously ill. Both were down with viral fever and bronchitis. Julian was even rushed to hospital as no fever suppressants could stop the fever - it surged to over 40C. I thought to myself - dead! Can't do it again! But I was really desperately to do it before she is too old and putting her to higher risk. So Aunty Unique and I did a lot of praying to lift the curse. And I told myself that the most I would tired myself to death taking care of 3!

On that morning, I made sure Dr Kasey did the blood test and everything needed to ensure her operation successful. I nagged and nagged at Dr Kasey. He He... A million thanks to Dr Kasey Tan and the staff of Mt Pleasant. My Nicole came home safely and with a set of polished teeth. Her wound was healed in only 5 days instead of the 7-10 days.

Finally mission spaying is possible. The curse is finally broken. From now on... I just wish Nicole will be with me for another 10 good years or better - MORE!

Beautiful Gals

I know Garwyn is as cheeky as Daddy. And now I realised Julian has "suger coated" tongue like Daddy too!

Recently Julian has been singing this song "Beautiful Girl" which Daddy has it as his mobile ringtone. One day, Julian asked me, "Mommy, do you know why I have so many girlfriends? Cos I sing "Beautiful Girls" to them!"

I was speechless!

Mafia 3 @ reunion dinner 2010

Mia said: "Wow! my left side and right side oso have 帅哥, I'm so happy!"

Finally we managed to organise a CNY 2010 reunion dinner. We had it at popo's favourite Canto Kitchen by Chef Kang. We had 盆菜，鱼生 and compliment desserts.

This year Uncle Daniel could not attend cos he was working and anyway, this year he prefer Philippine's cuisine. Unique yiyi misses all reunion dinners since she become a grandmother and she will join her son's family for the reunion dinner - normally will be fish and sweet potatoes meals from Natural Balance but this year she had additional dishes 干炒牛河and杨州炒饭. Although we are down with 2 but we are up with 3 more. Not just any 3 but mafia 3! They are also the reason why we were unable to have reunion all these years! Cos mommy and yiyi were busy producing the mafias for the last few years!

大年初一

Sick sick sick!

Another mad week. Effectively all 3 were sick 2 weeks ago. It started with Garwyn. He vomited twice in the middle of night, then fever start. The next day, Julian's turn. He had a fever for a week. Saw 2 pediatricians and finally did a blood test. He was given Augmentin and Amoxycillin to kill the virus and cost me almost S$500.00. ("Julian, next time use Mcafee or Norton to kill virus - only S$100+ and Unqiue yiyi said can kill alot of virus with added spywares somemore!") Nicole is troubled by skin problem and I even caused her half blind due to shampoo entering one of her eyes.

I was not able to sleep as I need to check their temperatures, sponge and medicate them in the middle of the nights. In the day time, I need to chase after Nicole to apple cream on her body, shower her with medicated shampoo every 3 days, and force her to take medicines.

Finally when they had recovered, my turn to fall sick but nobody bothers to take care of me : <

I dun wanna be old!

Last Sunday Julian told me while I was driving, "Mommy, I dun wanna become old!" I told him, "So? But everyone will grow old!" and Julian replied, "I just wanna become NEW!" Aaaa....... :8

He is right! Opposite of Old is New. My fault! I didn't tell him opposite of Old is Young too!

Finally Gar Gar is 2! His 2 years old birthday fell on a Sunday 24th Jan, I thought only Mommy, Auntie and Gor Gor would celebrate his birthday with him since Daddy is alway busy especially on weekends. Nevertheles, Daddy made an exception to make time to celebrate Prince Garwyn's 2 years birthday.

I had bought the Dinosaur exhibition tickets quite some times ago so we went to the Dino exhibition in the afternoon. Julian freak out when he saw the Dino and he cried throughout the walk. Garwyn was more brave.

Garwyn's sensitive nose

Garwyn has an adenoid that is obstructing his airway. Mommy is busy with all the follow up in KK hospital. He has been on 12 weeks of Zrytec and 6 weeks of Nasonex. Recently mommy brought him for another follow up and has anticipated that he needs to go for a surgery. Fortunately Prof Tan said that his adenoid has shrunken a little and surgery is not required at the moment but he still need to continue his medication for a while.

Beside his block airway, he also had a "blockage" in his ass - he had constipation. He has been on Lactose and Colimix. Mommy also has to massage his tummy almost every nights. Every time he poo, he needs to use so much strength that he would shiver. Mommy had to resort to using suppository to end his suffering. Poor Garwyn : < Mommy thought maybe seeing a Chinese Physician would help but it was even worst. He still couldn't poo and his tummy got so bloated that he vomited almost everyday. Finally Mommy discarded all the Chinese medicine and brought him back to consult Dr Watt. She is really Gar Gar's saviour. Now he only needs to take 1 dose of Lactose and eat Papaya and he is doing his "business" almost everyday.

P.S.: Gar Gar, mommy is constantly worrying about you and I hope you will grow up strong and healthily.

Finder Keeper

Julian found 20 cents on the floor when shopping at Causeway Pt on 23rd Feb 2010. Remembering Daddy's advice - you can't pick thing on the floor except money" - he picked up the 20 cents and I advised him to spend it. He bought his favourite snacks - cheese ring in the nearby valueshop.

He picked a party pack at S$2.50 (Julian, u think your 20 cents is "牛车轮" so big!?) and queue in line, paid the cashier S$0.20. The cashier opened her eyes wide and stared at me. I paid the difference of S$2.30. In the end I heavily subsidised his cheesel! but seeing his happy face (cos he own it) is PRICELESS to me!

16th Sep 2010 - Coffee Shop at Marsiling

Another 胆小鬼! We were having dinner at a coffee shop. As usual, Nicole sat on the chair. Then came a CAT!, sat beside her but on the floor. She quickly jumped down from the chair and came to me, asking me to carry her. I carried her up and repeatedly told her: "You are a dog! You want me to bring you to a psycologist?" The diners at the next table laughed. Daddy said put her down, no gut. I said: "Can't! Later she stress again. And will cost you a few thousand dollars again."

Gar Gar 1st day of Kinderland

4th Jan 2010 - My Julian and Garwyn 1st day of the year but especially for my Gar Gar as it is his official 1st day of school without Mommy! Gar Gar is joining Julian in Kinderland for a half day class.

I was feel with excitment and anxiety. Packed their bags and bought whatever they needed for the big day. Check and check their bag several time to make sure I didn't leave out any important items.

I woke before 7am in the morning to help prepare them for school. After they left with the school transport, I hurried into my car and followed behind to the school.

To my surprise, GaR GaR was not crying when he board the van with gor gor. When I reached the school, he was playing happily in the classroom. But that was not for long and he started to cry for gor gor. Julian was then summoned by the teachers to appease his little brother. He went into the classroom and played blocks with Gar Gar. Gar Gar felt more secured with gor gor around but soon it was the shame shame gor gor started crying so teacher had to bring him back to his class and Gar Gar started to cry...

I went to pick Gar Gar up at 12.30pm.

Intelligence

Today i read an article pasted on the notice board of Shichida school. The subject of this article is about whether intelligence is born or made. I find it really interesting so i stood there to read and ponder about it. Then my maid asked Gar Gar if his intelligence is born or made. Gar Gar replied "home made" and that reply really made me laughed. Nevertheless, it's quite true cos i did put in alot of time and efforts to "home school" them. Gar Gar is always attentive when comes to learning and he is always hungry for books and puzzles. As for Julian, I believe he is born gifted with intelligence but he is a super attention seeker and thus spend most of time catching the attention of others rather to focus on learning. That's what I call attitude problem, so what if he is clever? If his attitude problem persist, he would have wasted his god gift intelligence.

Our Anniversary

It's our 7 + 14 years anniversary. Why 7 + 14? Cos it's 7 years of courtship and 14 years of marriage (24th Nov). Instead of a candle light dinner, I decided that it should be a family occasion so we took the kids to their long awaited excursion - MERLION PARK! and that was how we celebrated our anniversary.

For 21 years together, it resulted in these 2 adorable monsters produced. Life is now complete with them. Our joy and pride...

Sleeping Beauty

I was so so so angry with Gar Gar Tung on 17.11.2009! He woke up basically every hour after 2am. He cried and cried till even Julian woke up and stared at him. Finally Daddy came back at 5am and said he would pat him to sleep but before Gar Gar was asleep, he dosed off as usual. I was so pissed off by this rascal that I finally pull him out of the bed and put him infront a TV and made him sat there to watch TV. Then our helper woke up around 6am and asked me what happened. I instructed her to take care of him and dun let him sleep! My revenge! I went back to sleep.

Finally at 10am, Gar Gar was too tired and fallen asleep. My helper put him back in bed beside me. After all these wakings throughout the night, I finally woke up around 11am and saw him next to me. He was so tired that he was actually drooling in his sleep with his mouth wide open. I carried him up and trying to wake him up. This time, my turn to "tekan" him. No matter how, just couldn't wake him up and I decided to put him in the wagon and lay him in the patio.
